Our Paper-Champions

Election season sucks and it brings out the idiot in everyone.

I pause to wonder why
in an age of understanding
how a populace so enlightened 
can fall for such deception.
Are we not the higher beings,
not to be fooled by misdirection?
We put our ignorance on full display
every time we call for an election --
We toss reason in the air;
and praise a paper-champion.

yes, idiocy....we are presented with some crazy candidates, and then we back them---

surely is happening this election season...one candidate in particular----like Dr. Phil would say "What are we thinkin'?"

I'm not sure which is the worse this year, but it is entertaining if nothing else. But it is amazing how an election can bring out the absolute worst in people.
