Glorious HealingA Poem by JamesMy answer to a question today.
Someone asked me a question today
“Is God really real, or a joke well played?” “Of course, He’s real.” What a silly thought. “With blood and pain your sins He bought. He created this world with you in mind To tend His Garden until His time. He knew your name before your first breath, Every moment of time from birth till death.” “But it doesn’t make sense,” he said to me “To believe in a thing I’ve never seen. Words in a book you blindly follow My friend, I tell you, that’s a big pill to swallow. Do you have any idea how crazy you sound Preaching a God that can’t be found. Am I to believe in Heaven and Hell, Angels and Demons and the Devil as well.” He laughed when he said it, I knew he was lost Suffering inside, but fearing the cost He thought there was a bigger price he’d pay Than asking forgiveness and to simply obey. The words of the Father written on the scroll And acceptance of His Son who died for your soul. I said to my friend “don’t fight it anymore You know the truth” and we knelt on the floor. We prayed for the Father to forgives his sins To open his heart and let Him in. My friend rose with tears in his eyes I didn’t have to ask because I knew why For I had had that very same feeling The Spirit of God and His Glorious healing. © 2016 JamesReviews
