'An Endless Struggle'

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

Today I lost the battle I have been struggling with for years.

It's not the first time we've fought,

nor the last time I'll shed tears.

But this may be the toughest fight in an endless bout of wits.

You have won this round, I was weak, 

after your relentless barrage of hits.

I will live to fight another day I will never be in peril,

just as long I stay off the isle

that has a sale on fudge swirl.

Your struggle seems to point to a fight with someone; but then....it's not. Yup, stay away evil snack. If it is about moderation, well that is the ticket. Mine is peanut butter on bread. Just sayin.

Oh my downfall is the chip isle haha! why do we crave and then cave? sighhh. But don't think you're weak, just wipe off the smudged fudge and continue trying :)

Thanks for your encouragement. I've been able to move on from the old fudge swirl and now when I need a snack I just get a sandwich, it's an ice cream sandwich, but still a sandwich.
