James,
Within familiar social settings of family, friends, acquaintances is where we need to remember why this love room is important. We mustn't take this place of belonging for granted. Our hearts are important. Reaching out, smiling, caring is important. But we can take it for granted and not act as is necessary. Your poem above is a good reminder this time of year, Thanksgiving and Christmas as we gather. Good job!

Funny how we can feel completely alone around people who love us. Sometimes we are there with them, but really not, if that makes any sense.
