Just, That Girl In Class.

little poem with some simple rhymes i made in class. very simple.

There you sit, twirling your chair.
I sit here starring, only at your hair.

Your skin is dark, tan and cool.
Praising your complexion like a damn fool.

Every turn shows your soft, beautiful face.
I bet you have boys lined up like a middle school race.

Small lips that look gentle, yet dangerous.
Your dark mysterious presence, makes me so curious.

I glance at you every time we pass by.
If only i had the courage to say hi.

Having a crush is always fun. Just suddenly admiring someone for whoever they are, shutting out what you've heard about her and what other people may think. Crushes always keep our minds racing and also keep us on our toes. Perhaps she knows who admires her, perhaps not, but that's the plain beauty of it :)

You're most welcome :) It all matters on how you see and get to know them. If you're able to know them on a more personal level instead of talking to her just a couple times and claiming you "know" her, when that's really not it. It takes time to know a person inside and out, crushes are just a great way to start it all off.

I'm not much of a poetry fan, but I rather adore this piece. It definitely speaks to that middle/high school-er we all are, or once were. I don't really know many people who can honestly say the have never sat through a lecture and admired someone's features rather than pay attention.

Absolutely my favorite stanza. It makes me want to get to know her; to know what makes her so intriguing. And I can't help but feel like she might be the witty type.

I think it is best to wait at times...you don't wanna jump into anything to quickly, but being friends and stuff would be good...then you would get to know each other and find out if you really wanna be wiff em or not.

yeah and i think waiting right now is good for me, gives me time to improve myself, maybe thats true for other people too. yeah i can never say no to meeting new people, thats what life is about. experiencing new peoples, places and cultures. who knows though :D
