A Life, A Journey

A Life, A Journey

A Poem by HopingStrong
"

A poem I wrote from my mind to the pen.

"
Maybe there is hope
Play me the fifth note
Perfect in pitch
Soul searching within

Say we need two lives
To find out where truth lies
I don't need proof
I could climb on the rooftops

Two o'clock
The boondocks
My two socks
Not too lost, true
But you lost him

Now in the city
Cooped up, true cost of
Giving in to what he's used to
Who wants love

What I'm left with
Are some questions
Is direction misdirected when I'm stepping
Are lessons but a sentence to an ending
I could stress it
But the ending is this sentence

About
I'm a man that has won. A man that has lost. A loss of the one not the plan, but a cost. The cause of the damage, the hammering thoughts. I stop. And write what I'm thinking. That's all. more..
