Destiny

It keeps eluding me.

Destiny
I can reach out my hand and touch it
I just can't grasp it
My destiny
Running away from me
Try and try to no avail
Trying to make it to heaven while going through hell
My destiny
What will it be
Searching for answers morning, noon, and night
Though, there are never any in sight
 My destiny
When will I see
I long to be fulfilled
However, for now emptiness is all that I feel
My destiny
Abandoning me
Will I make it or will I fall short
When the task becomes to difficult, will I abort
My destiny
I just need to be shown
My destiny
Is unknown.

I absolutely loved this poem; There is so much truth in it. We long to be successful and find out how we will make a difference in the world, but sometimes it feels like you will never get there and the path is just too narrow. Don't give up, James! You will make it, I will make it... We will succeed.
