Reflection

Reflection

A Poem by JP thinks the WC is aptly named

Barely perceptible rain
Barely falling
A varnish for the trees and cars
And pavement

-stand there long enough
And your reflection will develop
A photograph
In a chemical bath

A reflection of a man
- of this man -
Alone, on the pavement,
In the rain

And from this simple weather
Comes the storm
The event takes over
Scattering crowds, shattering the reflection

He stays behind
To hope and see himself again
Barely there
Barely perceptible
