keep that hope alive! wihtout hope the world is lost...
thats the problem today, we think too much about our damn problems and not about what is important...family, friends..all the people that we love and care about and how lucky must of us are and what we take for granted....
strong piece, great write, well done.

I know exactly what you are saying here! I have been where you are, in that bone shattering pain! I too had brain surgery June '07, and have been pain free for the 1st time in 27 yrs! Thank God! I really feel your words, great work! Take care~~~
Sometimes we have to appreciate the short amount of time we have at peace. Because most of the time as quick as we feel it its gone again. Then all the weight that's been pressing on our shoulders comes rushing back.
I actually prefer pieces that are free flowing...they have no constrictions and therefore allow the writer to "breath." This is a great example of one...and VERY relatable. Nice :)
Sometimes Hope can be a blessing and a curse and I think that you have outlined that perfectly here, yes it is what makes us go on each day but at the same time it can torture us with its unattainability, there will always be hope and we will always hope for something and still we may never attain our hope. sometimes that is a sad thing. Good Work here.
Hope is the reason we go on - may you have many more days of peace. This is a beautiful and sad poem. It makes me know I need to be more grateful for the every day goodness that I have in my life - I promise I will try to do that in 2008 - now more than ever I need to say I have had many good people and things in my life. Thanks for the focus!

I am tired of the usual drivel that I have here. Yes, I was writing in High School. I was apparently doing a decent job as I was sent to a workshop hosted by Brescia College. Most of my works from .. more..
