Shakes, Scratches, Chokes, Clenches

A Poem by James'Nightmare
"

A poem about a camera.

"

Probe me for the answers;

Use that flexible camera "

Up the nose, down the throat;

Go wherever your mind takes you.

I just hope you know what you’re looking for…

Your tiny eye makes me uneasy

And you left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Wherever I look, you’re there,

Reading me like a book,

Watching me wriggle in this leather chair.

There’s only so much I can take

Without having your hand in mine,

Ready to break.

Now you say it’s all in my head…

On the journey here,

I saw my death bed.
