I Am of the Rainbow

I Am of the Rainbow

A Poem by mekajamjam

You see surface,

Such depth is simply worthless.

No aspect of my grace

Can be determined at such an unbelievably pace

I am of the rainbow.

An intricate reflection

Of light refraction,

Deciphers wavelengths of my resolution.

I am of the rainbow.

Tokens of nature’s green

Oxygenates my being

Red raspberries,

Bleed into venous hands

Crystal blue water,

Cycles creation

Yellow rays of sunlight,

Kindle the combination

Fiery orange,

Rockets through infinite ranges

Velvet violet irises,

Overwhelms viruses

Silent, disregarded, indigo

Springs transparent mystical flow

I am of the rainbow,

Yet, physicality remains as the main scene

I am of the rainbow,

Yet, you will not see

Edges desist,

Vastness exist,

Vanity wanes

Freedom reigns

Community living

Passionate giving

Smiling faces

Glory traces

I am of the rainbow,

Do you see?

I am of the rainbow,

I thrive in a plane,

Where I relish in the same

Bask in the syllables of her name

Never, in the game

I am of the rainbow,

More than eye level,

Sort of clever,

Lovable and tender.

I am of the rainbow,

Yet, you plug your head,

Allow your thoughts to be towed,

Until I am swept under the bay,

And defined only by the contents in my bed

I am of the rainbow.

It, however, is not my name.
