Twenty Things I Learned Before Turning Twenty

I’ve learned that bad things don’t only come in threes,

They can come in fives or even twelve’s,

I’ve learned that, sadly, some things are impossible, but you won’t know until you try,

I’ve learned that people only talk behind your back because you’re ahead of them,

I’ve learned that feeling lonely doesn’t always mean you are alone,

I’ve learned that some things are better left unsaid, even at the final goodbye,

I’ve learned that falling in love is simple,

But falling out of love is complicated,

I’ve learned that pain is only temporary... Sometimes,

I’ve learned that people will question all the good things they hear about you but believe the bad things without a second thought,

I’ve learned that the night sky can make any sized problem feel tiny,

I’ve learned that living and existing are two totally different things,

I’ve learned that we start out walking the same path but there comes a point when we all have to make our own,

I’ve learned that you have to be young and reckless before you become old and wise,

Or so I’ve heard,

I’ve learned that patience is how well you act while you wait, not how well you wait,

I’ve learned that walking through hell and facing your demons alone is something you’d never wish on your worst enemy,

I’ve learned that there is nothing wrong with reaching out to someone first to show them you care,

I’ve learned that having courage and bravery is only half the battle of conquering

I’ve learned that chivalry is not dead; you just have to be creative

I’ve learned that going through a lot in your life you can spot someone else who’s been through the same,

I’ve learned that telling someone about your demons is the scariest thing you can do

I’ve learned that you never stop learning things, once you think there’s nothing left to learn, you’re wrong.

I LOVE your list! :)
A wise man never says that he is wise. Instead, he says that he has much to learn. Although, it is okay for me to say that you are wise :)

I really enjoyed this, especially the line about people instantly believing bad but questioning good. You made me have an epiphany that something I should strive for to be a better person is always questioning the bad and believing the good instead of that inverse. So thank you.
