Ambushed by Death

Ambushed by Death

A Poem by Edmond Dantes

Ambushed by death
A death I can't escape
Take my dying breathe
Be my last embrace
Fighting with a last dying kiss
A rememberance of you
Now I go in bliss

A century of time
Could not erase my fate
To have you in my arms
I hope it's not to late
Don't forgo my last embrace
There's no time to struggle
I see the pearly gates.
