The invatationA Poem by Jakethedog22
It was a dark and stormy night.
When I looked into their eyes, All I saw was cold, dead, fright... My fist was shaky, I knocked lightly hoping no one would hear me. With the squeak of the door; And a gasp of the crowd I suddenly felt that i needed to act proud. We suddenly stared at the doorman above. And we all seemed to notice his strange black glove. "Welcome, welcome, I"m glad your here, certainly you got my invitation, my lovely dear..." "Come in, come in, the master will not bite surely you must be hungry for it is almost night!" © 2012 Jakethedog22
