An Invitation

An Invitation

A Poem by Jake Dog
"

A Silly Poem from our blog!

"
I have a castle with a murky moat,
And archers guarding on the wall.
If you cross they'll sink your boat,
And alligators will start to maul.

I have boiling oil ready to tip,
And lions who feast on strangers.
I hired a giant who can snap a whip,
And there are other hidden dangers.

I would love for you to come for tea.
Please call first, best not surprise me.

Very cute invitation! I certainly was enthralled and could have stood through another stanza or two of you describing the dangers around the castle. It was fun and you may want to consider some expansion of this poem in the future. Really great job though!
Have fun,
Erin
