Scream Murder After Dark

Scream Murder After Dark

A Poem by Jake Stance

 Dust settles,
Memories fade.
 Tear drops,
Water the earth.
 Mind the senses,
Keep breathing.
 I no longer long,
To be complete.
 Sell your soul,
I'll be in touch.
 Think of freedom,
Not existence.
 Make meanings,
Don't be destroyed.
 Rehabilitate dreams,
Laying down to slumber.
 Good night, moon,
Good night, stars.
 Tell the rest,
I need to sleep.
 For in the morning,
I doth arise...
