Eyes on the ArtifactA Poem by Quinn FletcherA poem that explains how a lack of understanding can lead to disastrous results.Red eyes see the
Artifact as a symbol of warfare and a right to dominant. Blue eyes see the
Artifact as a symbol of peace, proof that the world should unite. Green eyes see the
Artifact as theirs and theirs alone and should not be shared with anyone else. Yellow eyes see the
Artifact as a terrifying, sinful thing that must be destroyed. Pink eyes see the
Artifact as a source of life for the world. White eyes see nothing
but love the feel of the Artifact. Gazes shift from the
Artifact to each other and they glare hatefully For all are right and
all are wrong. And none could accept
it. Time passes. Heavenly eyes see the
Artifact as a piece of junk, surrounded by skulls with empty sockets.
