City of opportunityA Poem by Jake Staffeld
There was once a chance I didn't take
An open hand, a bright light Angel wings fluttered all around As I walked on by Through this city of opportunity Whoever knows Maybe I'll come around Back to here Chances are Chances don't happen once As eternity's probability gets unraveled There was once a chance I didn't take And here it is again What do I do now? I feel like walking down The path I'm already on In the city of opportunity Does it ever really matter What it is we do? Or am I just a fool?
