Evening SkiesA Poem by MiyankIt depends on Man to Man, how will they spend their evening.
We are walking through the busy streets
Children waiting for me At my house with a cup of tea, But I stop in the middle of the path, And look at the Evening Skies I wonder what I had achieved, to stand in this walking crowd. did I invest my childhood in the best way, I wish I can get those days back And I could be something more now that I look at the Evening Skies The morning is the younger me And the evening is the present me. I am just a step away from my children And I wonder, do I deserve their cheerful hugs I had a guilty when I was watching the Evening Skies I hug them with a smile
And I wish they don't torn out to be me I live the guilty morning And when I look at the Evening Skies I pray to God, pathetically to forgive my sins By the end of day to repeat the same mistake. © 2015 Miyank |
