Evening Skies

Evening Skies

A Poem by Miyank
"

It depends on Man to Man, how will they spend their evening.

"
We are walking through the busy streets
Children waiting for me
At my house with a cup of tea,
But I stop in the middle of the path,
And look at the Evening Skies
I wonder what I had achieved,
to stand in this walking crowd.
did I invest my childhood in the best way,
I wish I can get those days back
And I could be something more
now that I look at the Evening Skies
The morning is the younger me
And the evening is the present me.
I am just a step away from my children
And I wonder, do I deserve their cheerful hugs
I had a guilty when I was watching
the Evening Skies
I hug them with a smile
And I wish they don't torn out to be me
I live the guilty morning
And when I look at the Evening Skies
I pray to God, pathetically to forgive my sins
By the end of day to repeat the same mistake.
