Deceptive Crush

We all have a crush...

The sound of his voice, so sweet

Makes my heart skip a beat

Passion rising 

His gaze mesmerizing

Weakening me to my knees

Galvanized by the thought of his touch

Arousing my Lust

Ignites the flame that gives me a rush

However, its nothing but a trompe l'oeil  

That leaves me disappointed all day...

I really enjoyed the form of this poem, and ending on ellipsis creates a sense of the unfinished, which I like. Perhaps this is because your feelings are open-ended? Nonetheless, a good piece of writing.

quite fascinating, & very captivating it is. yes, you're right. we all got some kinda "Deceptive Crush" that neither let us sleep on nights nor stay so focused in day-lights. we start living in some kinda blurring and so illusively shown ecstatic world that only shows us whatever the thoughts of one's mind display to hearts'.

well, i won't say, infatuation is bad, but yeah, oh boy, it's ev'n way dangerous than hell. it's way more mighty than seduction, way volcanic, raged & outraged than wilderness... so i guess, yeah, such galvanization... oh boy. ev'n her flaws seem to be so VIRGIN when we're so++ much onto her-love gotton by visualized and so sadistically provoken "infatuation". nice imagery here!
