Forbidden LoveA Poem by A Jainam Mehta
For the first time in high school , an angel I saw.
It was you,who was different from common girl's law. Deep in the silence you always remain. you're shy and sweet, and always the same. Milky is your beauty & shine in your eyes. Your heart is pure truth, it has no lies. whoever sees you, his heart sinks. You're like a fairy creating magical links. whenever your eye corners steals my stares, It fastens my heart-beats pausing my world I swear. When the seductive smile is missing there on your face. I look as my enemy to the whole human race. Friends spread rumours about us that we opposed. Slowly, steadily it turned to reality, I supposed. Fake feelings flourished to true love, don't know when. Our silence, which was strength suddenly started to weaken. You left, before I tell you, what I wanted to say. I was broken so badly, unable to regain in any way. Whatever happened with me was the will of fate. Neither you or me can challenge or debate. That's it. I've no more words to convey. May you always have smile & happiness, I pray. If not this time then till next birth, I can wait. I'm sure one day, my soul will meet his mate. - A Jainam Mehta
