Endless

Endless

A Poem by Phoenix
"

More about how it was...

"
I'm not sure I love you
I'm not sure you care
But if I were to ask you
Would you think it unfair?

I try not to lie
I try to be real
Just don't ask me why
I never show what I feel

I thought you saw me
 I thought you could hear
Yet you never used the key
That could lock away my fear

I wished you understood
I wished you could see
So that maybe you could love
The part that is really me

I hope it's all okay
I hope it's all fine
Don't worry about hurting me
I know you can never be mine

I tell myself it's over
I tell myself it's time
My heart's well passed due
To put you out of my mind

Author's Note

Phoenix
I should mention that this was written August last year.....and I'm posting it now "for a friend who doesn't understand my conflicting feelings", and because they're old feelings that apply again, except in a strangly painless way.

sometimes time doesn't heal, no not at all. So just stand still, as you fall. In or out of love, I doubt you will win him back, when he's got eyes like that, always looking out.

Have I read this before? I feel like you showed this to me, but it may just be the content... and oh, how it was truly relatable. Who hasn't felt this before?

Only Time can heal, now. :/

Great work, regardless. :)

Eternally Yours.

I think I understand your feelings but not why you do not put them to the test
Maybe she feels the same way and doubts if you do

About
I have so many ideas and feelings, and they usually buzz around inside me wildly. When I can gather up enough of them, then a piece of writing emerges and I feel refreshed. more..
