Troubadour: View From the Air

Troubadour: View From the Air

A Poem by Jaffa Forbes
"

View From the Air is the last of a three part modern poetic story told in, well, my style of poetry. Troubadour songs where ancient Occitan songs that dealed with mainly courtly love.

"

Troubadour is still free.... but to find out what happens you can get the download! It's FREE! Really...

Download it here!

Author's Note

Jaffa Forbes
This song is an Escondig, which is described as "a lover's apology"

I hope you've enjoyed this different format of poetry. I hope it was not too boring... If you think there are places where this could be improved please do say. For instance, do you think it should be longer?

You are probably one of the most talented writer's Ive come across on this site.
There's more to love than Hallmark cards and puppy dog eyes as couples enjoy their long walks on the beach.
You've bounded past the facade that stereotypes a truly epic moment in life and have stood a head higher than the rest of the mob.

I do particularly like the lines of:
"The London sea has turned bright at the moment of Armageddon"
Probably your best and most memorable of lines in my opinion.

There's a beautiful contrast with the world in this I think. How the two lovers stand alone as an island against that city of fog and smoke. I admire that immensely.

I do apologize for the late response to your read request but know that I always reach back in some way or another.
Feel free to send me anything else you have, I'm always up for a read request.

Longer hmmm, i don't know, is it possible to make it longer and not over doing it? I think you can do it, so yes by all means make it longer. I like this.
