Nanosecond.

Nanosecond.

A Poem by Jaffa Forbes
"

Trying to paint on a poet's canvas everything that happens in one nanosecond.

"

Then in a blur all nations faded,
The clouds rolled swiftly by and
sunsets came and went.
The seeds were hatched, the
eggs made, the flies came,
the flies went; and all of
creation, all nations stood
standstill in the midst of a cloud,
watching the lark rise with malice
to settle in the centre of the sun
before falling, and falling deep
and suddenly as burning leaves
on a tearless moonlit night.
In a blur, in a blink of an eye,
all this happened today.
And I just stood wondering;
Utterly confused.

And I just stood wondering. I do that a lot.
