I Don't Need a Valentine. He's Already Mine.A Poem by JaedaThis will be the first year, I swear it will, that I will have a happy Valentine's Day, and I wish one to the rest of y'all.
Valentine's Day.
Now there's something to talk about. I have a sad, sour history with Valentine's Day. Ridiculous. I was always that chick, You know the one, Who never got a Valentine. I'm just not easy to like. It was a domino effect That led to me being a holiday pariah. No social skills begets No friends begets No Valentines. So this year, you know what? I'm done with the self-pity. I've got a wonderful sweetheart, And I don't care about the Candy or the cards. Self-pity is for the selfish. Valentine's will be a holiday for love this year. I will put away my childish things And have a happy February. © 2011 JaedaAuthor's Note

But I do love comments from anyone willing to read my poems, and I do try to review any commentator's works, too. I don't figure my background is t.. more..Writing
