Advice for My Friends.

Advice for My Friends.

A Poem by Jaeda

You are so young.
(I imagine myself saying this with a sigh.)
So young, but so am I, don't forget.
However
I have some advice
For You.

Friends
Though fleeting, sometimes, maybe,
Are made through tenuous attachments.
We are not made to keep them
But to love them
And let them
Go.

Love
Though fleeting, sometimes, maybe,
Is always precious.
It may fade or grow
But know
It is always precious
At some
Time.

Time
Though fleeting, sometimes, maybe,
Is all you have here.
So spend it wisely
Make friends
And love them
Even when you
Run out
of

Time.

About
I'm a pretty depressing writer, if I'm to be honest. But I do love comments from anyone willing to read my poems, and I do try to review any commentator's works, too. I don't figure my background is t.. more..
