(not finished) Ugly.

No plastic surgery.

No cosmetics of any kind,

Have what it takes to make my face fine.

When I stare at my reflection,

I don’t see beauty

All I see is beast within me.

My voice is all scratchy,

Not fair on poor ears,

You’d wish for my voice box to just disappear.

definitely continue. i also like that when i read the poem i immediately thought of the phrase beauty is only skin deep. i like that instead of saying she is beautiful on the inside your saying she's ugly on the inside. Great job keep writing keep it up i always love your writing

"All I see is THE beast within me." Your intent is certainly well expressed in this piece. Many people will disagree with the truth of this poem, but this is how YOU feel and see, not what others see. The one thing I wish young women would know in their soul is that beauty is only skin deep and if you are ugly within, that is a much bigger problem! Even beauty queens can lose their beauty as they age. Beauty within, lasts until the day you die.
