Lies.

Lies.

A Poem by SuicidePact.

Heart pounds,

With heavy breaths.

Significant sounds.

It’s the hidden test

I grasp for your knowledge,

Take everything that you’re given.

Watching as your nerves take control.

Notice as you wipe at your sweated brow,

Nails dig into your unsuspecting flesh,

Lips are bitten by your very own incisor.

Tell me, what you’re thinking,

Tell me your pack of lies.

I like this. The way you describe what some people do subconsciously when they lie are if they are holding something back. It was perfect. My little brother gets a curl on the corner of his mouth when he lies. A whole half a circles worth of a corner mouth curl. It's obvious and amusing.

Nice work, your lines are succinct yet descriptive, a difficult thing in poetry.
