Funny how people change,

Funny how we thought it wouldn’t happen.

Funny how as children we think we are safe.

Funny how we trusted everyone,

Funny how there’s no escape.

Funny how we all grow up,

Funny how we think we can change the world.

Funny how dreams, hardly ever come true

Funny how we continue to do what we do

Funny how we laugh about nothing at all

Funny how we function when we need to run away

Funny how I never seem to know what to say

Funny how our friends never seem to be true

Funny how when it comes to you I have no Clue

I like the poem very much. I know nothing about rhym schem like ingredients but what attracted me is the theme. "Funny how we trusted everyone" really winked at me. When we trust someone we know that we may/will be cheated. Eventhough we are carefully careless about that... Wrote nicely
