Funny how people change,

Funny how we thought it wouldn’t happen.

Funny how as children we think we are safe.

Funny how we trusted everyone,

Funny how there’s no escape.

Funny how we all grow up,

Funny how we think we can change the world.

Funny how dreams, hardly ever come true

Funny how we continue to do what we do

Funny how we laugh about nothing at all

Funny how we function when we need to run away

Funny how I never seem to know what to say

Funny how our friends never seem to be true

Funny how when it comes to you I have no Clue

funny how the word funny
can also be unfunny,
funny how you write about universal truths,
that everyone can relate to,
funny how you say you can't write,
but then, you do write,
and it's not funny,
but very true, how well you write!

Funny how everyone is useing "Funny how" in their comments :) I really enjoyed this. The repetion in this is very strong, but not overwhelming. That is good. You balanced out the "funny how"s and the words that follow the "funny how"s to where its seems almost perfect :)
