Mirror

A Poem by SuicidePact.

When I look in the mirror

I see the real me,

I see a girl, who’s confused,

Someone who’s alone,

I see sadness, through my eyes.

I see a life full of secrets,

A life full of lies,

A world full of possibilities,

Which I chose to ignore,

I see someone innocent,

Not one with the label ‘w***e’

When you look into my eyes,

What do you see?

I bet you recognise, a different side

Of me.

It's exactly how I feel everytime I look in the mirror. People act as if they know me, but they truly don't. It's like "Oh wow! I learn new things about me everyday!"

There is always a different side--we see one reflection; someone else finds another in our eyes...
