Mirror

 

When I look in the mirror

I see the real me,

I see a girl, who’s confused,

Someone who’s alone,

I see sadness, through my eyes.

I see a life full of secrets,

A life full of lies,

A world full of possibilities,

Which I chose to ignore,

I see someone innocent,

Not one with the label ‘w***e’

When you look into my eyes,

What do you see?

I bet you recognise, a different side

Of me.

this is beautiful. just beautiful, and so true. i love this, i love it so much beacuse i think this speaks for everyone, in one way or another. to me, it says that people are different then the way others portray them, and that lableing someone does not make them what you see them to be. that people see their own selves one way, and outsiders see them in a differnt light. amazing job, i wish i wrote this, but you have said it all, and no one could have done it better!
