So often we find ourselves reflecting on times past, and this is a fine example of that. Things that were said cant always be true and perhaps the person who made those promises was no longer the same persone who left you. Perhaps in this life were are constantly growing and changing into new people. But this is still a wonderful poem and very thought provoking. Great work!

Well, from my end, indeed, people DO change, sweetie. I dont know why they do, they just do. They break our hearts by doing it, and we're left alone out in the middle of nowhere during a rain storm. Oh, yeah, i've been there. Guess it goes to show us that people...we just dont know people these days, and i dont think that we ever will lol. Nice poem tho, it speaks a lot.
