Awww. this is quite depressing... because i can relate. Often times, we do think people wouldn't change.. but truthfully people do... whether it be for the better or for the worse.. it's saddening. This poem moves me because i can feel the hurt... and pain through your words. So heartfelt.

I like the meaning in this, sad as well. The sad truth that this happens in life. I like the last three lines in that last part. I also like this part, this poem has so much meaning:

Great expression and terribly sad and painful. It is inevitable to change. Most of the time though the change doesn't come painlessly. It helps though and makes us grow and become the strong people we are meant to be.

Oh my god, Jenn! This write is incredible! It is written in such simple language and yet is brimming with emotions. Each word that you typed is sincere and genuine, it came directly from your heart. The ending is simply exquisite, the voice of the write one of the best I've ever heard. You are extremely talented to be able to weave your words to create an ode so beautiful.
