I miss you...

I miss you...

A Poem by SuicidePact.

I miss your smile,

Haven’t seen it in a while,

I miss your golden hair,

And the things you like to wear.

I wish we had more time,

You’re always on my mind…

I wish you hadn’t left,

It truly was theft,

The way they took you away,

and I miss you every day.

You have expressed a very common theme to most people's lives very succintly

Simply stated poem of loss. You've got me wondering who you are missing and why they were "taken away".

Very sad, but expresses your feelings so simply yet well. Good work.

I enjoy simple lines in poetry, easy to read and understand, yet still conveying clear images and expressing emotion. And in just a few brief lines you outline a story, with characters and personality. The only thing I might suggest, and it's very minor, is lengthen eighth line to add one or two syllables to enhance the balance. A very nice poem, this.
