It sounds like you're writing from experience on this one. That's cool that you found a guy who's willing to do that for you.
Unfortunately, it's been my experience that guys like this get weeded out by natural selection. I'm not saying that guys shouldn't be nice; it's just that when we try to be sensitive and caring, we do so at our own risk. In most cases, the old saying holds true- nice guys finish last.
I made a candle-lit dinner once, when I was sixteen. I sat in a dark room at my friend's house, mixed two grams of coke with baking soda and a little water, and cooked it with a candle. It was about as romantic as anything else I've ever done.
