nature

nature

A Poem by SuicidePact.

Trees dancing in the breeze,

spreading bark and leaves,

I sit and watch nature’s beauty

It’s God’s gift to you and to me.

We live in a world full of beautiful places.

Why do we take it for granted?

Why do we insist on destruction?

Are we just telling God we don’t love Him?

A very pointed view of man's blatant destruction of the beauty around us that was given by God. How will we be judged?

I think destruction comes more naturally to mankind than creation. It's much easier to destroy what already exists than to bring something new into existence. That's not to say that I condone that kind of behavior; I merely recognize it.

Powerful last line, thought provoking.

That is such a great last line; it's so thoughtful and sums up the poem. But really, it is something I'll think about for a while. I enjoyed the first two lines, the rhyme was nice and picked up the flow for the rest. A really good poem.
