The Future.

I can see the future, when I close my eyes.

I can hardly wait, to approach its surprise.

I want lots of money,

I want lots of friends.

A great big house, on a nice block of land,

I want lots of children, that’s the life for me.

They‘d sure keep me busy.

I’d write during the night,

And work in the day.

Weekends for my man, when we’d get to play ;)

I can see the future, when I close my eyes.

I can hardly wait, to approach its surprise.

Lol don't we all want that? It's always fun to day dream ^__^ It takes up most of my day. I like how you ended and began the poem with the same 2 lines. It's a bit childish perhaps, but it's fun nonetheless C= It made me happy. Reminded me of the lightness of life and the point of dreaming. I was starting to forget that. Thank you for a positive and refreshing poem for a change!
