The Future.

I can see the future, when I close my eyes.

I can hardly wait, to approach its surprise.

I want lots of money,

I want lots of friends.

A great big house, on a nice block of land,

I want lots of children, that’s the life for me.

They‘d sure keep me busy.

I’d write during the night,

And work in the day.

Weekends for my man, when we’d get to play ;)

I can see the future, when I close my eyes.

I can hardly wait, to approach its surprise.

these are all great, but we are so much alike with our writing it makes me wonder lol.. ok change CAN, to Can't, because if you can hardly wait, you CAN hardly wait.. you could change the 6th stanza, to this, I want lots of children, And that’s the life for me.... it adds your own personal reflection to the writing without changing the flow, something else needs to happen in the 7th to the end stanza, there is something you arent sharing with us.. its another nice poem! -s
