Tell me why?

Tell me why?

A Poem by SuicidePact.

When it comes down to it,

You know you always...

Pick the ripest of the berries.

The biggest scoop of ice cream,

The best of every brand,

The one that looks the greatest,

The things that get you places,

So tell me why you aren’t consistent

Tell me why you can’t pick the best

When it comes to men,

You want the one who’ll break your heart.

You choose the worst, and they live up to their standard.

Why go for the bad boy?

When the good boy is right next to you?

Where he’s been all along.

Yes mam, this is sooo true. Though the truth is we ladies have no idea what we want. We go for the bad boys because they are unpredictable, and we seem to think it will make life better yet in reality it is only more stress. I think I finally have my good boy on lock and I will be keeping him for a long long time :D Great write I love it

Fruit to men, that makes sense

the irony of love really brings a lot of questions
which do not require any answers.

true, honest and its really wierd, but when we go for the bad guys, we don't know they have a bad part of them. We always look at the good qualities even if they are stupid, or very few, like ... brown hair, looking good in school uniforms (in case of kids) and the only reason for that is ... our love just blinds us. Cupid made a shot and it hit us.

This is true indeed, Jenn. I know a lot of girls that goes for the "bad boy". One of those girls happens to be me. Which I don't anymore. I never saw that side that everyone else saw. I tried to deny the fact the boy was nothing but trouble. I think that's what hurt me worse. It's true they do go for that one standard and end up hurting you in the end. Again great job. You done a wonderful job. :)

This is incredibly true. Every one it seems, at one point, picks wrong. We can have the best thing next to us and we won't see it till it slaps us in the face. Great write and expression.

now this I really love. Its the good guys life story. and its so true. These women just cant for the life of them see the guy who is the best for them and will treat them right. They want the fast cars and the dark hair and the smoldering eyes. pshhh Ill take sweetness and happyness and happy endings any day.

I've seen this so often, and a lot of nice guys do the same things, going for bitchy girls who don't stay true. Why? There is some psychological reasoning behind chosing a bad boy - they may seem tougher, more able to defend us, and also more verile. And I suppose the nasty girls seem more ready to ... do things the guys want. But for a real relationship, there has to be more than physical attraction. My husband is the best friend I ever had, makes me feel like a queen, and he's earned my trust many times over. That's more than I dreamed of.
