The emotions come across very clearly in this poem. It's simple and to the point.

I would suggest adding specific details to evoke images for the reader. If the speaker is addressing a particular group of individuals, then bring up examples of their experiences together. If it's addressing the world in general, more transcendental examples would be more appropriate.

Emotions are central to a poem and give it life but personalizing it with particulars gives it substance that can touch the hearts of your readers.

The ratio of people who don't care to people who actually do is overwhelmingly lopsided. The trick for me is to look like I don't care, but take care of the sh!t that needs tending to, and then walking away. Really like the style in this piece though.

I feel like this a lot too. Nice write, very thorough and well written. Like the way it's shaped too, reminds me of a pyramid almost.
