Ahh...hope, sometimes it can be a good thing, but in cases like this....not so much. You gave this person the GIFT of YOU, once, and he loves you so much, is such a stupendously great guy, that he leaves you broken and bleeding. Why would you even give him a chance to hurt you again? Do you know how many guys there are in the world??? Too many to waste time on what ifs and maybies. It's okay to value yourself! Set the bar low and you get the low, sweetie.

There are times that we do things because out heart says so, and i think this poem captures that moment when the heart overrides what it is the mind is saying. This was brilliantly written and i love how it captures one of those moments that could be left to the flip of a coin or where the answer may have change had there been a seconds difference in time. A turning point in time.
