It's nice to have someone to talk to.A Chapter by SuicidePact.July 17th 1989
I saw Tera today at the local markets, he was mucking around with some of the local guys I've see around. He looked really happy. I noticed his muscles bulging through his tight singlet. Sure they aren't bad to look at but why does he continueously have them on display? they are quite distracting. If he knew I was looking he'd get that stupid smug look on his face that he always has.
He was there again this afternoon, no not at the markets, at my spot. I walked straight past him without so much as a glance in his direction. He was watching me though, he always does. When I resurfaced and came ashore, he was still sitting there on the sand, my hair was dripping wet, goosebumps covered my exposed body, he reaches for my towel and rushes it over to me, i take it from him, my hands slowly brush past his.
"Thanks" I say to him, and for the first time since the day we met he didn't have a smart a*s remark to follow, instead he just smiles and continues to wax his board. I don't know what possessed me to do it, but I sat down beside him.
"So, when did you move here?" I ask him, at first he's shocked that I actually spoke to him, but he didn't take long to reply. "Just a few weeks ago actually." "Where did you come from?" "what is this twenty questions?" "I'm sorry!" I go to get up, but he grabs me back down. "no, Kat, I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that. I moved to this island because my parent's died, My and my sister moved in with my grandfather. We used to live in australia, but my parents grew up here, I guess it's just nice to live where they met, it's apart of me you know." "Yeah, It is"
We talked until the sunset, and left soon after that, no nothing more than that happened i assure you. But it was nice to finally have someone to talk to. © 2012 SuicidePact.Reviews
