Ich Liebe Dich

He calls me his angel

I call him my bear.

 

He holds my hand

running my fingers through his hair,

 

I look him in the eye,

he's my cutie pie.

 

He's my protector,

his strength makes me feel safe.

 

Fall asleep in his arms,

he wakes up in mine

 

when we're apart,

he's always in my heart.

 

He's the king of all Huggers,

He makes my day great.

 

When he kisses me hello,

When I'm kissing him goodbye,

 

I will always love him,

he will always love I.

 

Author's Note

# I know that "He will always love I" is grammatically incorrect, but I wanted it to rhyme with goodbye.

I liked it. The very last line threw me, though, as I can say I've never actually heard it put quite like that!! It's always "he will always love me", so that was a cute little surprise ending there!! But I enjoyed it still.
