Time to say Goodbye.

Time to say Goodbye.

A Chapter by SuicidePact.

The last time evryone was gathered together, it was Kaetalita's Wedding day, although the professional Mourners did set a different mood here today. The mourners weren't Tera's idea, no, they came from kaetalita's Great Uncle, who was very traditional. He wanted Kaetalita to be ready for the afterlife, or so he believed,

Tera can't help but remember his wedding day, watching his beautiful wife walking bare footed down a sand aisle between all their closest friends and relatives, but she only had her eyes on him. Tears are building up in his eyes with the thought of that beautiful moment he will forever remember, for the rest of his life.

Although Zee nor Tera believed in the old traditions they were apreciative to Uncle, who respected Kaetalita greatly. Uncle did very much like Kaetalita infact Tera can't recall anybody who had met Kaetalita who did not fall for her charm in the very first moment they met. 'Kaetalita will be missed' was the most common expression to escape the lips of the many guests and there was no doubt in Tera's mind that each and every one of them meant it.

Zee was keeping up with his calm routine it was all he could do to prevent him from breaking like his son in law, Tera was on the floor, holding himself up by the grass, tears streaming, a slight howl escapes from his lips. Zee puts his hand out to grab him on the shoulder, Tera is shaking like a leaf, like at any moment the wind could pick him up and blow him away in the breeze, and that broke his heart further. 'Lord, why did Kaetalita have to leave up, she was a good soul.' Zee prayed to a god he'd never previously believed in.

Tera started to hum a song his grandfather taught him, this started to calm him, he wished he was able to believe that death is just a very long sleep, a sleep that you can't wake up from, that's what they tell the children, Tera had even heard his own sister explain it that way to her children last night. Why do we lie to our children? We make everything so gentle, it only hurts us more when we find out the truth. 'My Baby, my Darling wife is gone, she's not asleep, she's just gone.
