What's mine is yours, and what's yours is ours

What's mine is yours, and what's yours is ours

A Poem by SuicidePact.
"

Can you figure out what this is about? thats my challenge to you.

"

forehead sweating,

tears streaming.

agony forms within me.

I can't breathe I can't speak

all I can do is scream

i grab your hand and you yelp in pain

you don't even know what that means..

all the things you've put me through

it's been such a long journey

but now its time to move on

and start a new one.

I wanna run I wanna hide.

but that is not an option

it's killing me deep inside

as the door slowly widens

and here she comes

straight through the opening,

i gasp and i cry

my baby girl has just entered the world

and all is forgiven

all the pain was worth all the joy in this world.

what's mine is yours and whats yours is ours.

This was a very unique view of child birth, and very well done. It misleads the reader with the first few stanzas but in the end you make it very clear what the piece was about. Birth. This was still a very unique and well penned and i like the mystery that you wove through the piece.

Hmm...I didn't have my two children that way...I had C-sections...but I've heard that natural birth is a wonderous life changing experience. The bond is much stronger than with medical intervention...that connection is just ended before you're both ready and can't ever be given back to try again...it's quite empty. This was a beautiful poem and a wonderful write on such a tender time in a woman's life.. Nothing like having the little gems suddenly having a voice when just moments before they only nudged you for attention...lol :)

A poem about actual child birth! Very daring, I must say :) I'm pleased that it is very well written, too! Thank you for this perspective on what you rightly describe as "one of the most beautiful things you can experience" :)

Aw... That is one of the most beautiful things! And you expressed it so wonderfully as well. I wouldn't have guessed it was about giving birth to a child ... until the very last part. Well done on keeping me guessing!

Oh, that's sweet. I didn't realise it was about childbirth. I like though, how it's not all given away till the end and then everything else made so much more sense; it kept me guessing. It's all worth it in the end. A nice poem.

You do indeed, know how to make a reader imagine the scenes very well. Great imagery :)
