Tomorrow

Falling, falling through the cracks, trying hard to keep on track,

Quivering lips, trembling steps,

Reaching higher, the goals in line of sight,

Heart beating fast, racing at the speed of light

The nerves are exploding; the pressure is growing mighty fierce

Young people are murmuring, anxious for the road ahead

It’s not uncommon no it’s simply part of life,

Fears a given, fears the only thing keeping them sane.

Tomorrow is uncertain, the future has no plan

 Today you are a boy, tomorrow you are a man.
