Back Story : KM

“Mark, why would you do this to me? To us?” Maggie pointed to the sleeping baby. She had come home on a Friday night, hoping her husband would have everything ready for the newborn. Have everything ready for the start of a new family. Mark was in bed with somebody else. Keep in mind that Maggie was only 18, and Mark, 6 years older. Maggie’s mother tried to warn her, tried to tell her only daughter that things don’t always turn out the way you want it. This is definitely not what Maggie wanted. “Maggie, I-“ Maggie raised her hand. “Just don’t. Please just go, and take her with you.” Maggie held in the tears as she watched the skimpy bimbo leave with her 5 inch heels along with the one and only man she thought she could love.

After a few weeks, Fayella, the new born, and Maggie moved across the state. She didn’t want to take the chance of bumping into Mark again. She had hoped that after a while, saying his name wouldn’t hurt so much.

For 16 years, Maggie taught her daughter how to be independent. For 16 years, she made Fayella do everything by herself. Maggie didn’t want what happened to her, happen to her beautiful daughter.
