Introduction

I never thought this was possible.  In only a few short months, my life changed… forever…

I had hopes of finding a certain someone, someone who is very dear to me and I thought by joining the military I would be able to use their intelligence to somehow find him…or at least some sign of him…But nothing was ever found.  It was as if he never existed…

Only a few months…I’ve only been gone for a few months…and when I finally returned home, everyone was gone.  I’m no longer looking for just little Nicky anymore.  Now, I’m looking for an entire town: my family, my friends, just plain citizens…All of them gone without a single trace.

I actually did find this memo from my father.  It said…well, it said that there was an impending attack on the town, an entire month before I even arrived.  But I didn’t hear anything on this.  I’m in the military; shouldn’t I have heard something?  Especially when this something is an attack on my hometown?

I don’t know what’s going on, and I don’t know who caused all of this to happen…but I will find out who did…Nicky will just have to wait a little longer until I can figure this all out…
