Questions to My Parents

Questions to My Parents

A Poem by AubreyJade

you want me to have faith

so i try but

it's not good enough

you want me to talk but

my life is not an open book

just anyone can read

you want me to trust

so i try and you

say it's not enough

you want me to be mature

so i try and you

don't like it

you want me to have faith

so i try and you

say it's to weak

you want me to talk but

you don't like

what i have to say

you want me to trust

so i try and

get betrayed

you want me to be mature

but you won't ever

let me grow up

i try to have faith

but it's been shaken enough

i try to talk

but you never

hear me

i try to trust

but it's been

broken just enough

i try to be mature

but i really

don't know how

Wow, that sounds like how I feel with my parents. It's nice to know I"m not the only one suffering... lol
